Land Escape
to endless places
Artists visualize landscapes in numerous ways: some depic them as accurately as possible, while others break the rules to reveal more. A silhouette, bright sunlight, sparkling water, or a distant mountain range are examples of common elements in landscapes, yet each generates dissimilar feelings in viewers. The symbolism that each viewer discovers is influenced by memories, dreams and desires, but also by his or her state of mind.
LandEscape showcases the diverse ways of representing landscapes. Each work offers viewers a chance to transport -or escape- to endless places, familiar or unknown.

ART FROM THE AMERICAS WHITOUT WALLS
Traditionally, an art movement is defined as a style of art with a common philosophy practiced by a group of artists during a specific time period. Does this concept will apply in the present? It is fascinating to see how technology has changed the way art movements emerge and evolve. Artists across the globe can now instantly share their work enabling many different styles and sub-movements to take place simultaneously. Any physical barriers that may have kept movements isolated in the past are now obsolete.
This ability to share, inspire, and discover gives artists a new freedom to develop unique perspectives without constraints. The only limitations that artists have to create their work are the ones that they self impose.
